Is Personal Development Enough?
Show Notes

We're gearing up for our In Person Training coming up this week for our GUIDE Culture Graduates and feeling super excited because we're live streaming a portion of the training to our graduates who aren't attending AND giving them a chance to grab their seat for the 2023 In Person Training.

Through conversation recently, we've noticed that a lot of people are only thinking about “how can I learn” not “how can I perform”?

And there's a massive difference.

People say that they're setting aside money intentionally to invest in themselves and in their business, which is a great thing, but then the question becomes: is personal development enough?

Think about the last time you attended a conference. Were you just another person in the crowd? Did you sit and take notes and then return to your everyday life?

That's typically how it goes. You aren't being seen by people. You might network with one or two new people during lunch, but as far as implementing what you're learning immediately and really performing your new knowledge and skills, it rarely happens.

Which is why we've designed our GUIDE Culture In Person Trainings to be a zone for learning the material, performing your new skills immediately (and receive feedback) AND for intentional connection with other people.

In this episode, Macy, Loy and Kat talk about the importance of all three of those aspects and discuss how you can plan to make sure you experience it.
